Vintage Italian Legnano restored, minimally updated, style appropriate but not close to original

Seems like it is a 1970, +/-2 years but probably a 1970. Livery is the iconic metallic gold/yellow paint finish (historically referred to as “lizard yellow”).

Vintage Italian that when through a phase as a fixie but restored it to its original configuration, but zero fucks were given to finding original parts. For example, modern two pivot rim brakes are much better than old school single pivot. Modern day manufactured skinny 700C rims and were able to squeeze 32mm tires in. Paselas are a nice ride.

So, great functional ride that can handle shitty Cascadian urban asphault with the 32mm tires with solid rim brakes. Looks the part. But no collector purist would be “fooled” but then this bike wasn’t built to hang on a wall. Very nice to ride.
